SYNOPSIS
The unemployed theme park architect Alex Korden lives in a dystopian world ruled exclusively by women.
About ten percent of humanity survived the Third World War in underground atomic bunkers.
Unexpectedly, Korden is assigned a risky mission. He is to design the life-supporting ecosystems of the multi-generational spaceship APEIRON, a gigantic artificial world being constructed in lunar orbit to search for a new Earth-like planet.
Over the following months, Korden becomes entangled in a web of political intrigue. International tensions continue to rise.
When Alex Korden completes his work, he finds himself cornered. Facing arrest and imprisonment, he decides, with the help of like-minded allies, to seize control of the APEIRON. Among his companions are a prophetic leader from Central Park, as well as women and men of all races and skin colors.
The daring act of piracy succeeds through a sophisticated, entirely non-violent deception maneuver. While the matriarchal power blocs on Earth are already preparing to unleash the Fourth World War, the multi-generational spaceship APEIRONsets its first course for the star Altair. Years earlier, a light signal had been sent from there, suggesting the presence of an extraterrestrial space station. From this first contact, competent assistance might emerge to help find a new Earth.
Alex Korden transforms from a hunted man into a democratically acting rebel
